The stainless steel Charcoal Screens are designed for grillers who plan to primarily use chunk or finer charcoals for long grill sessions. The screens keep fine charcoal and embers in the firebox for a complete burn before they fall into the ash drawers, ensuring easy spreading and an even coal bed. They are placed over the regular fire grates. This set is recommended only if you see yourself doing full-charcoal grilling more often than wood fires - however once in place there is no reason to remove them for a wood session as they work great with logs. Constructed in heavy expanded stainless steel to last.
