The Grillworks 42 Asador - HD Rotisserie Edition

The Grillworks 42 Asador - HD Rotisserie Edition is a 42 designed for the wood grilling professional who needs capacity. It has the features of the regular Grillworks 42, plus a host of upgrades:

Reinforced tube inner frame - in addition to the heavy angle stainless forming the outer body of the grill, this Asador is framed on the interior in 304 tube, considerably strengthening the structure against any warping in extreme heat.

Floating Fire Brick back - our new fire brick system lines the back of this grill with removable, replaceable refractory fire bricks. The brick reflects and retains heat, steadying the grill's heat delivery. The system also provides additional protection to the outer stainless surfaces.

Raised HD rotisserie system - The crankwheel and axle are raised up and out of the way so you can rotate cuts up to 80 lbs.

Heavy duty stainless castors - Locking, NSF approved stainless steel.

Ships crated, FEDEX freight with lift gate service.

Grillworks 42 Asador 316 upgrade

We build your grill's outer body and frame in special-order 316 marine stainless steel. More resistant to saltwater discoloration than 304 and more expensive, so only recommended if your grill will come into direct contact with seawater regularly, such as on a beach or in an oceangoing setting. The cooking surfaces and fire grates that darken with use anyway remain 304 stainless. Adds 1-2 weeks to build time.

Asador Turf Tires

Pioneered by my father's desire to single-handedly roll his Asador across a pebbly terrace or over a lawn to the barn, these surprisingly cool looking tires make the heft of any Asador quite easy to move over uneven terrain.
